BCMI was founded by professionals who recognised the need to develop the profession of Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) planning. Through BCMI, the courses were developed based on practical knowledge, experience, professional standards and certification.

Our mission at BCMI is to create a common base knowledge of BC management and DR planning, to certify qualified individuals, and to create credibility and professionalism of certified BC and DR professionals. Our instructors are highly regarded BC and DR practitioners and are also certified by other international professional institutes.
