| Meet-the-Expert Session ‘Pandemic Flu Best Practice’ |

BCM Institute conducted Meet-the-Expert session in Holiday Inn Atrium last
Friday, 17 October 2008. Keynotes speakers shared the first-hand experience on
how best practices had helped a large organization survive a disaster such as a
Pandemic Flu outbreak. Keynote speakers involved were – Ms.
Rose Lam, Mr. Albert Kong and Dr. Goh Moh Heng.
This session provided participants with essential knowledge to ensure
their organization is well-prepared for the pandemic flu, such as how
compensation, leave provisions, travel & evacuation of expatriates should
be managed, a comprehensive discussion on how to integrate Pandemic Flu with
the Business Continuity programs from the management and HR point of view.
Directors, Managers nd Operations Head greatly benefitted from the information
exchanged.
Conducted in an informative and interactive manner, all participants were actively involved in the dialogue session and in-depth discussion on planning and implementation strategy to prepare for the Pandemic Flu outbreak.
