| WORLD CONTINUITY CONGRESS 12-14 November 2008 |

On Nov 12 2008, more than 60 delegates attended The World Continuity Congress 2008 in Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore. BC & DR professionals from different parts of the world – Europe (France, Sweden), Middle East (UAE), Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand) gathered in the World Continuity Congress to discuss and update on the latest issues of BC & DR best practices and standards.
The latter half of the day was filled with 2 sessions of workshops. Few featured workshops on that day were– Pandemic Flu by Rose Lam (GMH), Crisis Communication by Farah Abdul Rahim (Hill & Knowlton) , Risk & Security Management by Mr Tan Chong Kuan, Joshua Kwai & Zulkifli from STET. Our delegates have some positive feedbacks to share:

Congress 2008 was organized – it’s not so training-focused. There were
variety of workshops that participants may choose which ones they wish to
attend. Topics are more specialized which catered for different departments
in the organization”
Coming next year is the World Continuity Congress 2009 on 4 November 2009. We hope to see you next year in WCC 2009!
