The Business Continuity Certified Expert (BCCE) certification is designed and developed to instill pertinent concepts and knowledge in BCM practitioners which will enable them to drive organizational-wide BCM programs, develop business continuity and recovery strategies, develop and implement comprehensive BC plans and BCM awareness and training programs, conduct exercises and tests and implement BCM audit and assessment programs to ensure BC plan effectiveness. This certification is most suited for BC managers, planners and project managers. The pre-requisite course to obtain the certification is the BCM-400: Managing Business Continuity Management (BCM) or BCM-5000: Implementing and Managing Business Continuity Management (BCM) course. Participants of the course too are required to pass the Qualifying BCCE examination before proceeding to apply for the certification. |
To apply for your BCCE credential, you should have at least 3 years of Business Continuity Management (BCM) professional experience and has the ability to describe your implementation and role in at least 5 of the BCM Body of Knowledge (BoK).
How to Certify
To become a BCCE certified professional, a candidate must successfully complete three separate processes ie. Formal Education (completion of either the BCM400 or BCM5000 course), Examination (pass the Qualifying BCCE examination), show proof of 3-years of verifiable BC experience and make payment of SGD150 (non refundable) application processing fee.
Formal Education
To attend the BCM-400: Managing Business Continuity Management (BCM) course (duration 2.5 days including half-day examination) or BCM-5000: Implementing and Managing Business Continuity Management (BCM) course (duration 4.5 days including half-day examination), a candidate must:
- Sign up for the course date and location
- Submit the Course Fees
- Be assigned with a login credentials for the online final examination
- Sit for the examination at the end of the course
Examination
To Sit for the Examination, a candidate must:
- Be equipped and competent in Competency Level 1:Foundation, 2:Intermediate (BC) and 3:Advanced (BC) including the 7 BCM Body of Knowledge (BCMBoK)
- Have attempted the online practice quiz at least once
Certification
To be issued a certificate, a candidate must:
- Pass the BCCE qualifying examination with a required passing score of 75% out of 150- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Submit the Application Processing Fee
- Submit the Certification Application Form
- Describe 5 or more domains of the BCM Body of Knowledge (BoK)
- Select two references for each BoK* (these references may be repeated for all 5 domains)

Fee Payment
- Application Processing Fee: SGD150. (Not included in course fees and non-refundable even if the application is rejected)
- Annual Maintenance Fee: SGD150 (Payable after your first year of certification)

An e-certificate will be issued for all successful application. However, a hardcopy certificate is also available upon request from the online store: SGD 50
