International Business Continuity Peer Forum Reaches Jakarta
Jakarta, 3 October 2011 -- Asia's premier Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery live forum MEET THE EXPERTS made its debut in Indonesia recently attracting senior executives and managers of risk, business continuity and disaster recovery. These executives from banks, manufacturing companies and government agencies were looking at Business Continuity Planning as possible opportunities to improve the governance of their organisations.
The MEET THE EXPERTS seminar through this debut, created an avenue for continuous learning and sharing among Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery managers. The organizers of the event, BCM Institute, believes that this platform would allow professionals access to peers and experts thereby increasing their knowledge of innovative strategies which could help in their organization's growth.

Indonesia, with its fast growing economy, has been faced with numerous business threats from natural disasters. Disasters such as floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, and forest fires have resulted in significant losses through business disruptions. Therefore a Business Continuity Plan is necessary in every organization to ensure resiliency in times of business disruptions. Many organizations have already developed such plans, either because of requirements passed down from their multinational parent companies, partners or clients.
BCM Institute will be hosting more of such events in Indonesia on a quarterly basis. Follow the BCM Institute's Facebook Fanpage at http://www.facebook.com/BCMInstitute for more information on the event or visit www.bcm-institute.org for coressponding Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery training programmes.
