Press Release for Launch of Auditor Certification Courses
BCM Institute Launches Certification Courses for BCM Auditor
[Singapore, 4 January 2010] BCM Institute is now offering two specialist courses on BCM auditing. These courses BCM-840: Audit BCM SS540 and BCM-8040 SS540 BCM Lead Auditor will lead to the Business Continuity Certified Auditor (BCCA) and Business Continuity certified Lead Auditor (BCCLA). This programme is launched in support of the National BCM Programme supported by SPRING and Singapore Business Federations (SBF). All Internal, External and Certification Auditors in Singapore will be formally trained on the auditing of the Singapore Standard SS540:2008 BCM standard.

He added "The launch of these courses is not to compete with existing audit certification such as the CISA and CIA but rather to provide a very specific niche areas of specialization for existing and new auditors."Mr William Ho, Chairperson for the Certification Committee highlighted, "This course will be attractive to both Internal and External Auditors trying to sharpen their skill in auditing BC projects and BCM programme." William said "BCM Institute had not only catered to the Auditors, it also caters for the advanced level course (BCM-8040) which is to train the Auditors for the BCM certification of organisation."
The first BCM-8040 course will be launched in Singapore on 8 to 12 Feburary 2010. Registration for the courses closes on 22 January 2010.
