PREPARED FOR THE NEXT PANDEMIC

Industry practitioners and novices gather for an afternoon to learn how they can prepared their organisation for the next pandemic.

[Singapore 27 January 2010] The recent Meet-the-Experts seminar co-organised by BCM Institute and WCC Events was held on 22 January 2010 at Holiday Inn Atrium, Singapore saw its largest participation of more than 130 attendees since its inception. The seminar - "Jumpstart Your SS540 Compliance Pandemic Flu Business Continuity Plan", attracted both BC practitioners as well as novices who are exploring implementing Business Continuity within their organisation.

The seminar was led by Dr Goh Moh Heng, President of BCM Institute with Mr. Lim Sek Seong, Managing Consultant of GMH Pte Ltd and Mr Roland Teo, Deputy Director for Singapore Business Federations (SBF). The audience were treated to an informative session of "the important guides and tools" when developing a BC / Pandemic Plan, SS540 framework and funding available from the government for the various courses including BCM-354 and BCM-5000 which relates to the topic covered.
