Business Impact Analysis : Backbone of A Successful Business Continuity Management Program Identified

Business Impact Analysis: The Backbone to Any Successful Business Continuity Management Programme  BCM Institute Malaysia launch its 2nd series of Meet-The-Experts Seminar 2010 on Business Impact Analysis.Riding from its successful run early in the year that tackled the challenges to key project management, BCM Institute Malaysia will be organizing its next Meet-the-Expert seminar at the Legends Hotel bringing together practitioners of BC and DR to focus, update and sharpen their knowledge and skills on Business Impact Analysis area of knowledge.

BCM Institute Malaysia will be launching it’s 2nd Meet The Experts Seminar on 5 May 2010 at the Legends Hotel, Kuala Lumpur from 1.30pm to 5.30pm. This complimentary seminar is open to all interested BC and DR practitioners.This time, BC and DR professionals would be treated to first hand experiences of implementing a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) in a multinational organisation from Mr Navaneetharaj, Business Continuity Manager for DHL Malaysia. The development and then, the maintenance of BIA continues to haunt many organization. Besides first hand experiences, participants would also gain tips on how to implement BIA effectively in a BCM programme from the President of the BCM Institute, Dr Goh Moh Heng. A seasoned practitioner who have implemented more than 200 BIAs will share some insights into the pitfalls and key success factors in implementing the BIA for yor organization.
