BCM Institute joins hands with Llyods’ Register & Det Norske Veritas
SINGAPORE, 11 JUNE 2010 – Good things comes in threes for BCM Institute. The second quarter of 2010 heralded the forging of close bonds with UK business assurance goliath, Llyod’s Register at the Llyod’s Register Quality Assurance client seminar on 21st May 2010 and with Norwegian risk management solution provider Det Norske Veritas (DNV) at the Effective Strategies to SS540 & BS25999 Certification seminar on 4th June 2010.
C-level participants from a range of sectors were enriched with BCM President Dr Goh Moh Heng’s insights on both occasions. Remarking on the BCM Institute relationship with internationally renowned UKAS registered certifcation bodies, Dr Goh declared, “Indeed, we are witnessing an era of being recognized as a knowledge-sharing partner by BC pratitioners in the Asia Pacific region. In fact, we welcome organizations and individuals to join hands with us to create a vibrant and global BC management community”.
Participants and practiioners at the DNV event further shared with BCM Institute staff their interest in exploring business continuity best practices in greater depth with their Management. Presently the largest BCM practice in Asia Pacific, BCM Institute continues to build on its collaboratIve efforts with organisations especially in the certification body circle. BCM Institute has worked with certification bodies most notably, Certification International, BSI as well as with other industry players. The upcoming quarter looks promises more in stor for BCM Institute, as they continue riding on the synergy between certification bodies certifying organisations and BCM Institute's certification of professionals and practitioners.
