BCM Institute Trains HP

   Dr Goh & Country Manager Dhiraj Lal with Participants from HPBCM Institute has just conducted a BCM-400: Managing BCM in Delhi. This course also qualifies them for the BCCE certification.

BCM-400 is a 2-day advanced level Business Continuity Management (BCM) course with additional 150-Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based examination, following the successful completion of the course. It is primarily designed and developed to instil detailed concepts and knowledge in BCM practitioners, which will enable the individual to drive BCM programmes and BC projects for the entire organisation. This course is structured to develop and train BC managers, planners, and project managers.

BCM-5000 Course in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

  BCM Institute and BSI held a BCM-5000 course in Dubai November 2008. BCM-5000 is exclusively designed for advanced professionals and practitioners, enabling them to understand and acquire practical skills to lead their BC team to corporate level organization-wide BCM implementation, testing and exercising, assessment and evaluation of BC plans periodically. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be awarded BCCE certification.

Good Turnout at Jakarta BCM 5000 Course in Partnership with APB Group Indonesia

[JAKARTA, 24-28 November 2008] BCM Institute in conjunction with our partner, APB Group, conducted the first Business Continuity Certification BCM-5000 course in Jakarta, Indonesia. One of the participants, Mr Daud Setiawan, Chairman of PT Exa Mitra Solusi, commented "The BCM-5000 course is a great course. I got a lot of benefits by attending this course. BCM Institute's President Launches Operations in Australia Pacific

  BCM Institute recently expanded its global footprint launching its operations in the Australia Pacific Region.  The first BCM course was recently conducted in Sydney, with the BCM Institute President, Dr Goh Moh Heng heading up the line-up of internationally recognized instructors. 

The first course, BCM5000, was selected as a critical start to training in this region, as the first group of instructors also attended the course to further familiarize themselves with the material and support tools BCM Institute offers.  As the future instructors in the region, it is key that no matter where the training is conducted, there is a consistent approach and delivery of course material.

   

BCM Institute Staff Retreat to Kuala Lumpur

BCM Institute’s Singapore staff went for a retreat at Kuala Lumpur on 3 - 5 Oct 2008. The 3-day getaway trip was filled with fun experience of enjoying the local food delicacies, shopping during the Raya Sale and even playing tennis!

The first day journey started from walking around Sungeiwang area, a popular shopping area in KL. Later in the evening, our Malaysia’s Sales Director, Ms Kerry See joined us for a sumptuous dinner and get together at Overseas Chinese Restaurant.

Thailand, BCM Institute – BCM 300 course

   Thailand, BCM Institute – A BCM 300 course was held on 13th to 14th August. Participants from various industries enjoyed the session, and were able to share many valuable information and insights with instructors.

At the end of this course the participants acquired the essential skills and knowledge in BC management and planning. They will be equipped with skills to guide their departments or business units in reducing and mitigating the impact of the financial losses and legal liabilities, thus protecting key organizational assets; as well as ensuring the continuity and recovery of critical business operations during a disaster.

   

BCM Institute in Mauritius, Infotech 2008 Conference

In August 2008, BCM Institute went to Mauritius starting with a speech by our India’s country manager, Mr. Dhiraj Lal , to the audience at Infotech 2008 conference (6 to 10 August 2008) at the Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre. He spoke on"BUSINESS CONTINUITY AND DISASTER RECOVERY - CRITICAL ENABLERS FOR DIFFERENTIATION AND BUSINESS GROWTH." This is followed by a launch of BCM Institute's courses for the participants. Another milestone on our ability to the global markets.

INFOTECH is the major annual Information and Communication Technology (ICT) event organized by the National Computer Board (NCB) of the Mauritius government with the aim to create awareness on emerging technologies and provide business opportunities in the ICT sector.

Infotech is an event with regional dimension, with the presence of foreign exhibitors and with the holding of an ICT Regional Conference. It attracted 60,000 visitors; around 250 participants joined the ICT Regional Conference. BCM Institute is proud to be part of the event and used it as a common platform to share about Business Continuity Management.
