Leading Government Agency MDeC Leads The Way By Supporting BCM 200 & BCM 300.
[Kuala Lumpur 22 July 2010] The sounding of a gong by Yang Berhormat Tuan Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation to officially open the 10th World Continuity Congress (WCC) conference, was a first for the BCM Institute team. This WCC event also won media headlines and the support of key government agencies with initiatives promoting BCM growth.

Developing a Nationwide BCM Competency Program
In light of the recent Business Environment in Singapore, BCM Institute have launched a Competency Building campaign aimed at raising the level of organisational preparedness and resiliency by 2010.
The program is open to all Singapore Registered organisations including government and non-governmental sectors and SMEs.
Business Continuity Planning For Aviation Sector
Singapore, 30 June 2010 – BCM Institute, the largest business continuity management (BCM) practice in the Asia Pacific region, was requested to speak at the Business Continuity Planning Seminar for Pandemic Preparedness in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 26 May 2010, in cooperation with the Department of Civil Aviation, Malaysia. Accepting the invitation, BCM Institute's President, Dr Goh Moh Heng shared with c-level participants from the aviation industry, the finer points of Business Continuity Planning. In his presentation, Dr Goh elaborated on a proven approach to implement a Pandemic Flu BC plan in various areas of the aviation sector.
