Crisis management (CM) is often confused with business continuity management (BCM).  For those who had attended the institute’s BCM certification courses, you begin to notice that organisations need to increase their preparedness not only to manage a disaster but also for a crisis.  Crisis does not only include physical threats but also incidents that affect the reputation of the organisation even though you still have access to your organisation.  With the advent of social media and real-time updates, BCM professionals and senior management need to be crisis management aware and these courses because of the basic necessity for any senior management team members’ responsibilities.   • CM-200 Crisis Management Planner

    COMPETENCY LEVEL: KNOW

    This is a 14-days eLearning on crisis management (CM) best suited for someone who wants to have a basic understanding of the subject.

  • CM-300 Crisis Management Implementer

    COMPETENCY LEVEL: DO

    This is a four weeks (blended learning) intermediate crisis management (CM) course that incorporates CM-200 syllabus before the start of the course (Module 1). Best suited for BCM coordinators and newly appointed CM coordinators who would like to know how they can contribute as part of a CM team and decide on the best crisis management strategy; there is no experience pre-requisite for attending the course.

  • CM-400 Crisis Management

    COMPETENCY LEVEL: MANAGE

    This advanced crisis management (CM) course is a follow-up to those who have attended the CM-300 Crisis Management Implementer course. Here, participants will be taught how to manage a crisis management flow of events and conduct advanced-level testings such as integrated and simulation exercises.

    Course Pre-Requisite:
    MUST complete the CM-300 Crisis Management Implementer

  • CM-5000 Crisis Management Expert Implementer

    COMPETENCY LEVEL: MANAGE

    This is the most comprehensive and holistic crisis management course by BCM Institute. It covers syllabuses taught in CM-200, CM-300 and CM-400 courses. This course allows newly appointed crisis management personnel to have a thorough idea of crisis management and how to handle them and prepare the team for the crisis through simulated exercises taught.

  • WSQ-CM-360 Implementing Crisis Management Plan

    COMPETENCY LEVEL : DO

    This 3-Day intermediate crisis management (CM) course takes participants through the fundamentals of BCM and how it relates to crisis management before allowing participants to learn about the different types of crisis and how to deal with them.

    There is no experience pre-requisite for attending the course.

    Complete the CM-360 Implementing Crisis Management Plan
