ISO 22301 BCMS Fundamentals Package

Note: Participant is expected to complete Module 1 within two weeks after registering before pursuing Module 2.

Module 2 – Facilitated Workshop (Online)

Participants will be allowed to practice the fundamental concepts of risk analysis and review (RAR), business impact analysis (BIA), business continuity strategy (BCS), Plan development (BC Plan), testing and exercising via hands-on and interactive sessions with fellow participants from various industries.  Participants must complete actual RAR, BIA, BCS and BC Plan templates using your organisation’s examples.

These are to be done after pre-reading materials and guidance are disseminated. Participants are to attempt the templates for each concept per stage.

Senior industry practitioners, including current BCM managers, consultants, and vice presidents from international financial and higher educational institutions, would facilitate this hands-on practice. This would be done via our online facilitated workshops.

Note: Participants must submit their assignment for each stage and will be assessed at the end of each session (there are two sessions for Module 2). The assignments are expected to be completed and submitted to the facilitator within two days after each session.

Finally, attend the;

Module 3 & 4 – Facilitated Workshop (Online)

In Module 3, participants will explore their role as BCM managers for the organisation. In-depth knowledge of how to seek management approval for the RAR, BIA, BCS and BC Plan phases.  This includes engaging their management and business units’ heads.  Crisis management and communication integration are crucial for completing this advanced-level training.   Managing a corporate-level crisis and command centre management would be explored.

Like Module 2, pre-readings and guidance notes would be shared before participants join a two (2) 3-hour facilitated online workshop on different days.

It would then be followed up by Module 4 work, where participants are tasked to consolidate their RAR, BIA, BCS reports and BC Plan and how it relates to an organisations’ BCM. The presentation would be a mock-up presentation to the senior management (facilitator) and BCM steering committee (your fellow participants).

Participants would be provided pre-readings and guidance notes before they present in the two (2) 3-hour facilitated online workshop.
