President of BCM Institute Recieved “Lifetime Achievement Award” in Park Lane, London

May 30th, 2012, Park Lane, London – Dr Goh Moh Heng, President of BCM Institute, was announced the award winner for the Continuity, Insurance and Risk (CIR) Business Continuity Award 2012 Lifetime Achievement.  He was the first Asian to receive the “Lifetime Achievement Award”.

Over the last 14 years, the Business Continuity Awards, presented by CIR, has been recognising professionals who stand out above the rest and awarding them for their innovative strategies and practical contributions in the area of business continuity, security, resilience and risk.

During the Gala Dinner and Ceremony held at the Hilton on Park Lane, London, Dr Goh Moh Heng, President of BCM Institute was announced the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award. This award recognises Dr Goh for exceptional achievement and professional excellence in the arena of business continuity/ resilience. He was the first Asian to have received the Lifetime Achievement Award by a team of  European based BCM professionals and judges for his outstanding contributions. Dr Goh’s 23 years of experience in business continuity has shown him to be a person who possesses a high level of professional integrity and credibility, garnering much respect within the field.

Prior to founding BCM Institute, Dr Goh Moh Heng worked as a global head of business continuity management with Standard Chartered Bank Plc and the Government Investment Corporation of Singapore or GIC in short. Professionally, he is a Business Continuity Certified Expert (BCM Institute Membership Number: 0001), a Fellow of Business Continuity Institute (BCI Membership Number: 0074) and a Certified Business Continuity Planner (DRII Membership Number 1471).

Despite his extensive experience and knowledge in this industry, Dr Goh Moh Heng has always been seen as a humble and inspiring motivator to others. According to Jeremy Wong, Senior Vice President of BCM Institute, a friend and a colleague of Dr Goh for the last 12 years, “Dr Goh is constantly striving to champion the business continuity management industry in the Asia Pacific.”
