The BCM-300 ISO 22301 informative session initially commenced with no prior knowledge. After reviewing the materials and participating in two workshops, the assignments posed challenges; however, subsequent workshop attendance has provided a clearer understanding of the scope and strategies of Business Continuity Management (BCM). I would like to request trial examination papers to assess our knowledge and facilitate better preparation for the online assessments. Currently, the feedback comprises only ten questions, which are repetitions of the same question – RSAF, Singapore (BCM 2025 class)
These 2 days were very engaging and really helped me understand IT DR in a clearer and more practical way. Mr. Murugan explained the Risk Assessment, RAR, and AIA very well. It made it easier for me to link real threats to the actual impact on systems. The AIA section was especially useful — it helped me see how IT outages affect my organisation’s business functions, and which areas I should prioritise for improvement. I also gained a stronger understanding of the different DR strategy options, their strengths/limitations, and how each relates to RPO/RTO requirements. And now I have a solid picture of what a complete DR Plan should include ((objectives, scope, team roles, etc) and why it is important of a detailed drp to a organisation. Overall, this module gave me a better structure, clearer direction, and more confidence to strengthen our organisation’s DR planning. And again, Thanks to Mr. Murugan! – Genting Berhad, Malaysia (DR 2025 class)
Contrary to some other BCM trainings, which talk only about WHAT needs to be done but do not explain HOW, here we can benefit not only from hands-on activity of writing the documents ourselves, but also from experiences of a subject matter expert – European Parliament, Luxembourg (BCM 2025 class)
The course gets into details based on ISO22301 BCM, and explained in simple ways with examples and a framework which helps to make it easy to understand. The pace of the course is intense but concise, and available online. This is great for individuals who wants to have the course in a more condensed and fast pace – Starbucks, Singapore (BCM 2025 class)
All the 4 modules are definitely very useful. It has deepened my understanding of operational resilience definitions and terminologies. It has also provided guidance and suggestions on how to deal with challenges we may face in practice, and provided direction on how we can continue to improve on – Citigroup Inc, Singapore (OR 2025 Class)
Key takeaways: 1. Communication channels including internal and external 2. Cultural change exercise 3. Leader to lead the team in forming Operational Resiliences is crucial – Maybank, Malaysia (OR 2025 class)
Great insights and tips on the areas which we should concentrate on, especially for an organization which has not developed OR – Maybank, Malaysia (OR 2025 Class)
Good context provided with concrete steps to achieve OR planning and implementation. The examples shared were also very relevant and helpful. Dr Goh’s experience and breadth of knowledge in the fields of BC/ CM etc has helped to tease aside the nuances for OR – Marina Baysands, Singapore (OR 2025 Class)
After going through Module 4, I am now able to apply and transform the learnings in the earlier modules into a planned exercise. The sharing during the session has also allowed me to be more confident at attempting the assignment. For me personally, I think a slightly longer session, especially on sharing real-life application would be more beneficial as I do not have much experience in crisis planning and that would give me a wider perspective to the various industry – Kinderland, Singapore (CM 2025 class)
The workshop is an exceptional scene that provides a comprehensive and structured approach to mastering operational resilience. The general description of the modules and the own hands-on session ensure that we are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to implement and manage operational resilience effectively – ING, Spain (OR 2025 Class)
