CC-400 is a 2-day advanced level Crisis Communication (CM) course with an addition of 3 and 1/2 hour 150-Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based examination, following the successful completion of the course. It is primarily designed and developed to instil detailed concepts and knowledge in Crisis Communication for CM/BCM practitioners. These knowledge are unique for CM and BCM managers who are tasked to also be a Crisis Communication Manager as well as the Crisis Management and BCM manager for the organisation. It would also help them assist their Crisis Communication team/colleagues. This course is structured to develop and train Organization BCM Coordinator, CM/BC managers, planners, and project managers.

Pre-requisite: Participants are to attend and complete the CC-300 Crisis Communication Implementer course/

Crisis Communication Certified Expert Certification is awarded to participants who successfully completed their CCCE examination, with verifications of the participant’s experience by BCM Institute.

  • Develop crisis communication policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive crisis communication plan.
  • Learn to track and trace incident events and prioritize decisions and activities.

Examination

This course incorporates a 150-Multiple Choice Question electronic exam the next day. The duration of the examination is 3 and 1/2 hour. Candidates who achieve a passing score of 75% or higher are eligible to apply for the BCM Institute’s Crisis Communication Certified Expert (CCCE) accreditation. The examination fee is included as part of the course fee.

This 3-Day course is a unique competency-based Crisis Management course designed uniquely for participants who have no crisis management background.  The emphasis is to assist his/her crisis management counterparts as part of their role as an emergency and incident management, crisis management and business continuity management team member.

Completion of the 3-Day competency-based crisis management course also allows participants to achieve an internationally recognised Crisis Management certification, i.e. the Crisis Management Certified Specialist (CMCS)* certificate.

Certification

The Crisis Management Certified Specialist (CMCS) certification is awarded to participants who successfully completed the 3-Day CM-360 Implementing Crisis Management Plan course and pass the Qualifying CMCS examination.

Objectives

  • To train participants who do not have a crisis management background and are in the emergency and incident management, crisis management and business continuity management team, to have the competency to establish crisis management plan for their organisation.

Who Should Attend?

Examination

There is no examination attached to the course, but a WSQ Competency Assessment needs to be attempted and passed for Singaporean and Singapore PR to obtain his/her WSQ Statement of Attainment  (SOA).

Examinations are only applicable if participants opt to attempt the Qualifying CMCS examination at SGD200.

The CMCS Examinations is 2.5 hours, 100 online Multiple Choice Questions done in an invigilated room either at BCM Institute’s designated exam venue.

Examination

This course incorporates a 100-Multiple Choice Question electronic exam the next day. The duration of the examination is 2 and 1/2 hour. Candidates who achieve with a passing score of 75% or higher are eligible to apply for the BCM Institute’s Crisis Management Certified Specialist (CMCS) accreditation. The examination fee is included as part of the course fee.
